It was so very cold during this weeks winter wonderland maternity session. Mom to be really wanted some photos outside. Little did we know at booking that it would be 5 degrees at the time of her session. I was willing to brave the cold if she wanted to. We started off warm and indoors in my studio and got some lovely silhouette shots. From there we went outside of my studio and took some shots with snowcapped evergreens in the background. The sun was shining so you would have never guessed it was as cold as it was. From there we drove to the lake and finished the session on the iced over lake. I have never shot a session at the lake before during the winter months but I just loved it!! Mom and Dad to be were very pleased that we got in everything we wanted and I am so glad that we decided to brave the cold.
