This family requested a pure white themed newborn session for their baby girl. I love shooting newborns on white drops, props and accessories. To me white is the perfect color for my pure little clients they are so fresh and new. I usually shoot most of my newborns on neutral colors unless I have parents that request more bold colors. Neutral colors are timeless and classic so I know my little clients will stand out and be the main focal point of the photos. And my families can enjoy these images for years to come on their walls without them looking outdated a few years later.
When chatting with this family during their consultation Mom mentioned she wanted “clean, classic all white” which I loved. There can still be so much variety when shooting on white by changing up the props and textures. I used lace wraps and changed out different white props (I got to use my favorite little bed prop). I finished this session with a beautiful glamorous shot with Mom and baby. These are becoming some of my most requested poses. Mom’s love the idea of getting dressed up in one of my gowns in my client closet and showcasing their beauty with their baby.
